Net Aware now includes more tips and advice from O2 and NSPCC experts on the social networks, apps and games your kids are using. It also features news stories which cover the latest trends and most pressing issues facing kids online, helping you stay on top of things. And we’ve created a new tips and advice section that answers your most important questions around online safety.

Our experts have reviewed some of the most popular social networks, apps and games your kids are using. Whether it’s ones you’ve heard of, like Snapchat or Instagram, new releases, like Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, or ones you might not be so familiar with (have you heard of Line or Monkey?), we’ve got you covered.
Each review includes tips on how to keep your child stay safe when using the social network, app or game, as well as a top tip from an O2 Guru.

Our In the news section will be packed full of information to help keep you up to date with the latest goings on in the world of social networks, apps and games. With a focus on new platforms and online trends, the news section will help you keep track of the ever-changing online world. If a new game comes out, social media issues make the headlines (again), or there’s just something we feel you should know, this is the place for you.

You don’t need to be an O2 customer to get help from our Gurus, who are trained to help you keep your kids safe online by answering your technical questions. You can book an appointment in a store near you or call the Advice Line for help on things such as setting up parental controls, privacy settings and live-streaming.
You’ll also see O2 Guru videos across Net Aware, with bite-size advice on everything from individual apps to general online safety.
